05.10.2021

“Spending time in green space or bringing nature into your everyday life can benefit both your mental and physical wellbeing” source: Mind

10th October is World Mental Health Day. The theme in 2021 is “Mental Health in an Unequal World”. Lily, one of our Rangers, says: “I love working outside on the farm and with the deer. Breathing in the fresh air every day feels so good. Watching the deer frolic in the paddocks and building a relationship with these magical creatures is so rewarding. I often laugh out loud at their antics!”

Walking through the races allows visitors to pause, reflect and connect with the natural world around them, enjoying the raw beauty of the South Downs and The Hangers, or noticing the small changes to the trees and wildlife through the seasons. Interacting directly with animals by feeding these magical creatures can bring deep rooted joy.

Sky Park Farm is open six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm.  The Grazing Rooms, Farm Shop and Butcher are opening soon.
