Introducing Our Visitor Centre Team!

10.08.2021

Our vision at Sky Park Farm is for all visitors to leave with a smile. In our opinion, this starts with a warm welcome when you arrive from our Visitor Centre team. We are really proud of the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received from our visitors about the friendliness of our staff.

You will meet our Visitor Centre team, Ange, Kate, Jess, Michael, Becky and Rachel, in various areas across the farm.

Michael is Farm Office Manager. In this broad ranging role, Michael is responsible for all aspects of the visitor experience.

“We have a great team at Sky Park Farm. I love seeing visitors enjoy everything we have to offer in this stunning corner of the South Downs National Park. I am focussed on the smooth operation of the visitor experience and want everyone, whether visitor or supplier, to leave with a smile”.

Michael developed a real empathy with the visitor experience, production and team management as events director of the award winning junk percussion band, ‘Weapons of Sound’, which toured internationally and led the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in 2002!

Becky is the farm’s Operations Manager – a multifaceted role. Becky oversees the staff in the Visitor Centre and is responsible for sourcing a full range of gifts for young and old.

A teacher by training, Becky is known for her sunny demeanour and unflappable nature.

“My aim is that when visitors come to Sky Park Farm they enjoy their journey through the Park, feel valued as a customer, receive great service and want to come back. We have a huge amount to offer both our treasured local community and visitors from further afield. I want to ensure that outstanding quality is at the heart of everything”.

Kate, our head Barista, will deliver the ultimate coffee experience, visit after visit. Using state of the art coffee machines and, in keeping with Sky Park Farm’s ethos of sourcing great produce locally, we have teamed up with Alresford based coffee company, River Coffee, to deliver exquisite coffee for our customers.

You will see Ange, Jess and Rachel wearing many hats. All local employees, this cheerful trio can be seen either behind the welcome desk, or creating the perfect coffee to enjoy as a take away or on The Terrace, serving some delicious home made cakes and pastries, creating a slushy or a bespoke soft serve ice cream.

Sky Park Farm can offer a good work life balance in an exciting and stimulating rural environment. An avid supporter of the local community, there is also potential for further opportunities and progression within a new and exciting family run business.
