This is the place to keep up to date with news of special events, culinary innovations and new arrivals among our herds of deer.
Executive Head Chef Matt Crow is in his element. The Grazing Rooms has launched a sell out “Dinner Series” where Matt and his team are able to deliver seasonally inspired culinary excellence across five perfectly curated courses. The menu provides a sensual journey of colour and flavour with each course perfectly paired with wine to enhance each dish.
The Grazing Rooms team is working with local distributor Hennings Wine to source red and white wine. Menus and flavour combinations are explored, and the Hennings team design the wine list to pair impeccably with each course.
Being situated in the foothills of The South Downs provides The Grazing Rooms team with phenomenal local suppliers of outstanding English Sparkling Wine. Each Dinner Series evening starts by featuring a local supplier.
Matt Crow comments: “The Dinner Series gives us the opportunity to showcase our creative passion as chefs whilst giving the local community an occasion to enjoy a unique food experience. Using seasonal ingredients enables us to work closely with our local suppliers, allowing the flavours of the quality produce to be shared and giving us as a team the reward of producing delicious food and working with the best suppliers.”
The tasting menu celebrates seasonal flavours and champions local producers, providing culinary excellence in a relaxed atmosphere. The evenings start from 6.30pm with a glass of local sparkling wine and an amuse-bouche. The courses will all be accompanied by tasting notes, sharing the chef’s vision and some background about the wine. The evenings finish at 10.30 pm.
Tickets are £85 per person, including all wine with each course. Tables are limited so be sure to reserve your table early to secure your place. Tables can be reserved through The Fork by clicking this link and our team will contact you to take payment in advance of the evening or call us on 01730 634631.
