The Adventure Playground Opens at Sky Park Farm!

11.06.2021

Saturday 19th June

This weekend we are truly Devoted to Dads across the farm. Dads can enjoy watching their children explore our Adventure Playground – open for the first time this weekend, with its dedicated areas for toddlers and children.

The Adventure Playground allows children to roam free and generally satisfy their lust for adventure. In the children’s area they can challenge themselves on the climbing wall, explore the fort with its tunnel, play on the swing seat, adventure through the tunnels, across the ropes and down the fireman’s pole. The dedicated toddler play area for smaller children has a sandpit, swings and mini fort with a slide.

The playground was designed by our very own Estate Manager, Dom Strutt, who’s experience includes a pioneering children’s Woodcraft School and 15 years rural land management and forestry work. Dom has a degree Rural Land Management and a Diploma in Bushcraft and Outdoor Leadership

Following a firm eco-friendly policy, the playground has been handcrafted from robinia, a splinter-proof hardwood with a greater density than oak.

Entry to the Adventure Playground is through the Visitor Centre. From here you can also access the Farm Trail.

Sky Park Farm is open every weekend. From 16th July the Farm will be open daily from Tuesday to Sunday
