Come and have a go at making a simple corn dolly or two. You will be taking part in an ancient and dying art form which may not exist in years to come if people do not have a go and keep this art form alive.
The Corn Dolly is an example of an ancient craft which was practised wherever cereals were grown. Traditionally the “dolly” was made from the last sheaf of the harvest as a ritual thank you to the Corn Goddess to ensure for a good future harvest and good fertility of the soil.
