Get your young scientist ready for bubbling potions, lava eruptions, magnetic magic and explosive chemical reactions! This exciting hands-on science workshop lets children become real scientists as they mix, experiment and discover amazing reactions.

Explore the Science of Potions and Reactions
Step into the lab for a hands-on science adventure! In the Big Bang & Potions Workshop, children become real scientists as they mix, measure, and create:
🧪 Bubbling potions – magical mixtures that fizz, foam and change colour
🌋 Lava eruptions – explosive reactions that delight and amaze
🧲 Magnetic experiments – discover the hidden forces all around us
⚗️ Chemical reactions – safe, spectacular experiments to wow young minds
Hosted by an enthusiastic science communicator, this interactive workshop is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and lots of “wow” moments.
Important Information
• Arrive 10 minutes before your session at the Visitor Centre to collect your coloured wristbands.
• Children tickets will require one supervising adult.
• Extra adults must purchase a ticket, which includes farm admission.
• Due to the hands-on nature of the workshop and materials used, children under 6 years are not permitted.
