• One adult supervisor for event only, per child booking.
• Supervising adults require farm admission (charged separately) when accompanying children to the farm.

✨ A Truly Up-Close Experience

This isn’t a show – it’s a calm, immersive encounter.

Children will be invited to sit together in a small circle on the floor with the animal expert, creating a relaxed and intimate setting. From here, each animal will be gently introduced one at a time, allowing children to observe, learn, and interact at their own pace.

This format is especially reassuring for younger or more cautious children, helping them feel comfortable while still offering a close and meaningful interaction with each animal.

🐾 Meet the Animals

During your session, your child will come face-to-face with an incredible mix of ground-dwelling creatures, including:

• Skinny pig (hairless guinea pig)
  • African pygmy hedgehog
  • Chinchilla
  • Tortoise
  • Blue tongue skink
  • Snake 🐍

Each Amazing Animal Encounters session is led by an experienced handler, with opportunities to learn, ask questions, and (where appropriate) gently handle the animals.

⚠️ Before You Arrive

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience:

Please check in at the Visitor Centre at least 10 minutes before your session:
• You will be directed to wait outside the Deer Hub until invited in
• No food or sweets are permitted near the animals
• Sessions may be paused or stopped if animal welfare is compromised.
• Children must remain supervised at all times
